DMG HSC 75 linear – High-precision universal machining center for 5-axis simultaneous machining
The DMG Mori HSC 75 linear is a powerful universal machining center specifically designed for highly dynamic and precise machining tasks in simultaneous 5-axis machining of complex workpieces in metalworking.
Thanks to its combination of high machine rigidity, modern drive technology, and precise control, the DMG HSC 75 linear meets the highest requirements for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and process reliability – suitable for both prototype and series production.
Technical specifications of the DMG HSC 75 linear
The HSC 75 linear offers generous travel ranges of approximately 885 mm in X, 600 mm in Y, and 600 mm in Z. The rotary table with a diameter of about 750 mm enables 5-axis simultaneous machining and flexible positioning of the workpiece. Typical CNC controls for this machine type include either the Heidenhain iTNC 530 or the Siemens Sinumerik 840D powerline, both of which provide reliable motion control and intuitive programming, either directly at the machine or via CAM systems.
The powerful motor spindle achieves high speeds and sufficient torque for demanding machining tasks. Combined with an automatic tool changer with a large magazine, short non-cutting times and high productivity are ensured.
Special features of the DMG HSC 75 linear
A key feature of the HSC 75 linear is the linear axis technology, which enables very high dynamics and excellent positioning accuracy. Thermally optimized machine components ensure stable machining results even during longer cycles. Optional equipment such as workpiece probes, tool measurement systems, and integrated coolant and chip removal solutions further increase process reliability and support automated production.
Applications and industries
The DMG HSC 75 linear is used in many demanding industries, including:
- Machine and plant engineering
- Aerospace industry
- Automotive industry and suppliers
- Tool and mold making
- Medical technology
It is particularly strong in machining complex geometries with high precision requirements and challenging materials.
Alternative machines
Depending on the workpiece size, dynamics, and automation requirements, other 5-axis machining centers may also be of interest. Within the DMG Mori portfolio, the HSC 105 linear with a larger work envelope and the DMU 50 eVo / DMU 70 eVo linear with linear drives are excellent options. Other manufacturers offer strong alternatives as well, including Hermle C-series machines (e.g., C 32, C 42), Röders Tec RXU series, Mikron HSM or MILL series, and Kern Micro for ultra-precise applications.
Service and maintenance
Regular maintenance and professional service are essential for long-term reliable operation of the DMG HSC 75 linear. Further information on maintenance, spare parts, and technical support is available on our service page.
